CMS Meeting with Mike Procter

The Cricket Memorabilia Society have organised a special autograph and question and answer with Mike Procter, South Africa and Gloucester cricket legend.

This special meeting will take place on Saturday 18th June between 10am and 12 noon at New Road, Worcester. This event is free for CMS members. Members of other cricket societies are most welcome to attend at a cost of £5 (cash only) payable on entry.

Anyone wishing to attend this meeting will require a ticket of entry which you can receive by emailing Richard Brown 

The ticket will be emailed for you to print off or show at the Reception at the ground on your phone.

Mike will sign memorabilia and then answer questions. We are not going to issue a CMS Collectors’ Card for this meeting but will hopefully have at least one item of memorabilia for members to buy which Mike will sign.

This meeting with take place in The View on the Premier Inn side of the ground. Pay and display parking will be available until noon. Please note there is no free parking for anyone attending this meeting. Tea and coffee will be on sale and there is also a Worcester club shop and coffee shop that is open from 9am and can be accessed via New Road. The New Road ground itself is a cashless venue though this does not apply to CMS.

Worcester are playing a T20 match against Northamptonshire at 2pm. Tickets for this match can be purchased via the club website. We will need to exit the ground before noon and any match ticket holders will need to re-enter as spectators.

Mike Procter is also the guest of honour at charity dinner in the Graeme Hick Pavilion at New Road on the previous evening. CMS members can attend the dinner (which is 4 courses and includes live music and an auction) at the special discount price of £50. This is the first Summer meeting ever arranged by CMS. We will look to arrange similar events in the future if there is a positive response from members.
